Watercolors - Fandango Series
These watercolors were inspired by specimens of petrified wood punctuated
with fissures and insect damage. Perhaps you see these paintings as fossils, but more likely as aerial maps of undiscovered islands, as ancient cities with ramparts, or as bone scans---confounding the boundary between imagination and scientific observation.
